Our Mission

Carolina Elite was founded to help young athletes become leaders, team players, and role models through the evangelical tool of competitive basketball. Our players compete and participate in community service projects where they see Christ's love at work with those in need. Many of our players and families build life changing relationships throughout their Carolina Elite experiences.

National Recognition

In 5 years, our travel teams have won 10 National Championships, 2 Under Armour Super100 Championships, 17 AAU Nationals top 20 finishes, 3 NCAA Live Events, & 15 North Carolina State Championships.

However, our biggest accomplishments are off the court - Our leaders have now shared Jesus with over 500 CE participants, served the homeless in our community, provided clothes/household goods for shelters, and shared Christ's love across the USA.

Why Carolina Elite?

With so many basketball programs to choose from. why CE?  Our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ in our community and equip young athletes to compete at the top of the sport. Competitive youth club sports has grown to an estimated $150M per year pastime in the U.S. More and more families are make huge sacrifices to get their kids into high ranking programs, including missing church on the weekends or making any time to reflect on all that Christ provides daily.

At Carolina Elite, we find creative ways to share Christ with kids within the competitive landscape of basketball. It certainly does not replace church or our individual need to take time out to see God's work in our day to day lives. But, having talented Christ centered coaches mentoring our kids 2-5 times per week can help point young athletes to the source of their talent. Our hope is that our athletes develop their own personal relationships with Christ and that they see the Lord's role in all that we are able to accomplish as a community of believers.

Many of our coaches are former NCAA players and/or professional basketball trainers that are called to serve using their gifts and extensive knowledge of the game. Because of their collective talent and experience, our coaches tend to lead teams to great seasons and winning records.

We have been blessed to have 10 national championship titles and 21 NC State Championships in our short 5 year history. We stress the importance of giving God the Glory for these accomplishments and being humble to recognize that these things are in His plan with His purpose.

2020 Carolina Elite 🏀 UPDATE

After much prayer and consideration, our HS teams will play independent events in 2020. Destinations include..

Deep South - Raleigh,

Run 4 the Roses - Louisville

Carolinas Cup - Charlotte

Nike Nationals - Atlanta

EYBL TOC - Chicago

Cinco De Mayo - Washington DC

Brandon Clay - Atlanta

WarGames- Atlanta

WYBT - Kona, Hawaii

Playing independent allows us to keep ALL our players on their respective teams together until they get to college. Allowing players to stay together longer helps foster life-long friendships, more competitive teams, and allows more time to disciple these influential young athletes and prepare them for their future lives beyond basketball.

As a club, we continue to be a part of Under Armour Grassroots Basketball and are fully eligible to participate in UAA or UA Rise in future years, if our Board were to determine that it is in the best interest of our players.

Our Partners

Carolina Elite is very thankful for our support from numerous partner organizations. Most of our financial support comes from National Christian Foundation. FCA provides Bibles and player/coaches support.

Gear and access to Under Armour events provided by UA Premier Association. Player resources by Sports Illustrated PLAY, Hudl & Krossover.

Under Armour Camp

In the summer, Carolina Elite hosts 2 weeks of camps where players 5th - 10th grade from all around the U,S. gather for training, 3v3 and 5v5 games, insights from guest celebrity players, and more. We host the camp at the Lowes Grove Middle School Athletic complex in Durham, NC.

We will post information in March with this year's dates and costs. The CE Under Armour player development camp is great alternative to a summer track out camp for athletes that want to become great players.
